You can't make everyone feel happy!

We always think that we will try our best to make everyone happy! Whether they are our parents, our loved ones or our friends. यह बातें सुनने में अच्छी लगती है लेकिन यह प्रैक्टिकली पॉसिबल नहीं होता। 😂 (Translation: These things seem good to hear but it is not practically possible.)

Let me narrate you a small story: A small child was crying near the sea shore. On asking he told that, this sea is a thief. He has taken my favorite shoes with him. And then he wrote on shore- समुद्र चोर है! (The sea is theif) A few steps ahead one fisherman was crying because his boat along with his fishes sank in the sea. When moving ahead again a few steps, a mother was crying because his son was swallowed by the sea. He was playing with his friends and suddenly he got drowned in the sea.

Cloud, who was the best friend of the sea, was listening to all this. He told the sea why you bring waves on the shore frequently? Don't you feel depressed after hearing all these negatives about yourself. Sea being calm told him that we will talk about this on the next day.

On the next day when the cloud reached, he saw that a small boy was very happy. The child told his mother that today he received a ball which came along with the waves. He was thanking समुद्र चाचा (Uncle sea!) for this beautiful gift. At some distance a fisherman was thanking the sea for nurturing his family by providing ample fishes from his treasure. Again at a few distances a peanut seller was dancing in joy. He just got a box from the waves which carries the precious pearl inside.

On seeing two different aspects, cloud was in dilemma what to say to sea. But sea with a smile on his face said that his daily work is to come on the shore. One who gets favored by me is happy and one who does not is sad. But by listening to them , should I leave my daily work?

Our lives are also very much similar to this. We all want to chase our dreams. In this process some will appreciate us while some criticize us. Whenever we will try to achieve our big dreams, there will be someone who will always put a question mark on our abilities. It's human psychology that some will make fun of yours, some will make you remind about your last failures while some will really help you out. The funniest thing is that the one who doesn't know about your capabilities will also give you their suggestions. You can really relate to which segment of society I am speaking.

As Kishore Da said- "कुछ तो लोग कहेंगे, लोगों का काम है कहना " in one of his famous song from Amar Prem. But you know you have one power. You cannot stop all the people from gossiping about yourself. But whom will you listen to, should be decided by you only. We cannot make everyone feel happy. If we try also then it will end up feeling sad and lonely from inside. Sometimes you have to steadily say big "NO" to the people.

So viewers, by just saying NO at required places you can sometimes avoid unnecessary troubles and problems. And many of you can relate to it as well. Many times we say to ourselves that if I said, No at that time only, this wouldn't have happened. After getting so many unavoidable and unnecessary problems, I realized that it is very keen to say No at proper places; which is also the main message conveyed through this article.

So lastly don't waste your time in making everyone happy. All you can do is to make yourself happy and that's the most important thing in life!!

Just remember you can't make everyone happy! You are not alcohol, coffee, tea or nutella (take example of whatever you like 😂)

THE LEGLESS PILOT

If I would tell you that there was a pilot who participated in World War II and he was with no legs, you will consider me as a wrongheaded. But now again if I tell you that he was credited with 22 aerial victories, four shared victories, six probable’s, one shared probable and 11 enemy aircraft damaged, then you will be going to suggest some kind of treatment. But Douglas Bader was no less than an exception. There is a quote in Hindi, मन के हारे हार है , मन के जीते जीत i.e. Those who think they'll lose, they lose but the ones who think they'll win, wins and Douglas Bader proved it. Group Captain Sir Douglas Robert Steuart Bader, was a fighter ace in the Royal Air Force. He was the kind of man who could never resist a challenge. While attempting a low-level aerobatic display in 1931, he crashed. Luckily, he survived but both legs were amputated below knees. Born in London, Bader was full of aggressive energy and he was also a man of sports. He was so fond of sports

Superstitions

“WHAT?” “So, you are telling me that you lost the job because of a random black cat who crossed the road?” “YES.” The yes made me write this article. When Advik started preparing for this job interview two years ago, every single person of our society knew that he would make it. There was no doubt about it. Never thought he would lose it for reaching late, that too because of a cat. He is one of the most amazing persons I have ever met. I look up to him so many times. Hearing something like this from him is the last thing I expected. Superstitions are not new to any of us. They have been intertwined with us since forever. The above is just one of the many examples we hear every day. Debugging Superstitions Some deny them while some worship them. It is actually a personal outlook. They are neither myths nor boons but disoriented beliefs born out of ignorance and science causalities from the past. For example, Friday the 13 th is considered bad because of unfortunate pas

Wars And Lessons(Part 2)

"Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back."                                                                                                      ~ Heraclitus And in the second part of the series Wars and Lessons, we are going to talk about that one warrior, the one who is the real inspiration for us. But it is not like a warrior or a soldier wants a war. In the words of Douglas MacArthur. “The soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.” But if it happens then the soldier is the one who faces it, conquers it, and wins it. In this part, we are going to talk about some of the finest warriors of the Indian Defence Forces. 1.       Major General Ian Cardozo- If I have been given an oppo
